Convey: I felt like capturing this little winter wonderland snowman that was sitting on my desk. Alterations: Fix a bit of the white balance and added a touch of warmness to it so it’s not a dead cold night. I also reduce some of the saturation by 25%. Adjusted the curves to add a bit of pop and up the contrast a tat bit. Original: Set: Curves:
Music: Margot & the Nuclear So & So's – Not Animal! Settings: Nikon D90, 85mm Lens ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/125 sec
Convey: Want to make a simple product shot. Yes I know the back part gets a little catawampus but it’s what I was able to do with what I had at the moment. No excuse really. Alterations: Since I wanted to capture it with a f/5.6 so I had to push it and increase exposure by one stop and then I alter the curves to make the colours pop. Original: Set: Curves:
Music: NA Settings: Nikon D90, 85mm Lens ISO 200, f/1.8, 1/125 sec
Convey: A spur of the moment thing. Beautiful lighting in the kitchen hitting this item and I just went and got my camera. Alterations: I tweaked the curves to just some more pop of the colour and contrast. Original: Curves:
Music: Hard-Fi - Once Upon A Time In The West Settings: Nikon D90, 85mm Lens ISO 1250, f/4, 1/60 sec
Convey: NA Alterations: For this image I just focus on the curve. I started with wanting to make the red more vibrant but when I adjusted to curve, the red became very bold and blended beautifully with the image. Original: Curves:

Convey: With little time left for the week and while working on my drives I found this one that was broken and I was just like, yeah this standing up will do. It was sort of just wanting for me to capture it. Wanted the light to be going straightforward on it, but I didn’t want on camera flash since that will just wash out the white so a straight diffuse light is what I used. Alterations: Then as always just minor tweaks to the curves to increase contrast and colour. Then I reduce the exposure to bring some of the highlights back. Original: Set: Curves:

Convey: I wanted to capture this swan in a spotlight setting. Sort of like in the ballet when it’s a dark atmosphere to add to the feeling of the swan. Alterations: I just tweak it again with the Navi preset I made. Desaturated it all to make it a black and white and helped add a bit of contrast to it. Original: Set:
