The Carousal is very old. It was my brothers when he was just a baby. Recently my mom put it by the door where a blank wall was located. So I wanted to photograph the creepiness of it. When you are a kid its not to bad, but now when its all sort of gone south, the paint fading, things blending into one, it looks bad. So I place the light underneath to capture more of monster lighting on the main bear.
Alterations:
I desaturated the color a by half, lighten the eyes of the horse and bear. I added a bit of contrast and adjusted the color temperate to be a more cool yet warm feeling.
